The mocca calendar macro, provided by this application, can be used today to display a calendar of events with various filters on (scoped to a wiki, a subtree or a page etc) and has various parameters that can configure how it displays and what.

However, there is no parameter that allows to prevent the calendar to be displayed as editable:

  • "Create new event" button is always displayed
  • the event creation by selecting a section of the calendar is enabled
  • dragging and dropping of events to other positions on the calendar to update them is always enabled
  • resizing the events to change their duration is always enabled.

A readonly mode can be useful for the usage of the calendar macro as a gadget on a dashboard.
