Warning: only keep one copy of the app (replace the old one), otherwise system-wide controls app button will fire up more instances. Probably a macOS bug.
Fourth beta release:
- 10.12.2+ only
- slightly bigger popup
- added playback info on popup window
- added playback controls on popup window
- switch to ScriptingBridge for interacting with Spotify
- invalidate timer on track switch (better performance and power usage)
- more internal improvements
Coming soon: shuffle, repeat and volume controls. Maybe playlists?
