So, my computer gets Super duper hot. I'm not sure why this is, but here is some data collected before and during Yterm use. Look at CPU die temperature.

CPU Plimit: 0.00

...
And this is when I run Yterm.

Fan: 3100 rpm
CPU die temperature: 92.23 C
CPU Plimit: 0.00
GPU Plimit (Int): 0.00

...
A quick Google search for comparison suggests the average idle temperature for my computer is "under 45 to 50 degrees Celsius".
