Describe the bug
Based on a discussion with @Blackjack155, it would be more realistic and challenging to get grain loss when harvesting with load > 100%.
Idea could be to implement this only in Realistic setting mode.
I understand that if you harvest at 120% load, you would collect only 100% in the grain tank and would loose 20%.
Need to test and see how to manage early time of the day.

To Reproduce
Details to reproduce the behavior:

  • Harvested crop: any
  • Combine and cutter: any
  • Yield: any
  • Seasons mod activated? any
  • Time of the day when harvesting: to be confirmed

Hi, loving the mod, so glad you decided to implement in FS22. I think this would be a good idea also, I had wondered if this was the case already. There was a mod back on FS13 or FS15 from memory of a brilliant IH combine by Knagstad. he incorporated load based on yield, and 'settings' for the right crop, also adjustable axial rotor speed etc and incorporated a grain loss monitor. If you went too fast the header would bung and you would need to stop and 'unbung it'. unloading also sapped engine power, as did using the chopper. Some ideas for your if you wanted to expand some of the features.

IMO if your able to add the fact that the straw choppers and unloading uses power, ability to 'bung' the combine and a grain loss monitor etc, that would be ideal!

Anyhow love the mod!

Thanks

Matt

Hello Matt,
Thanks for your feedback. I perfectly remember this harvester, i think it was already on FS11 and came with a pdf manual to explain all the settings before starting to harvest.
I really don't know if i would have the time to code this, knowing that my mod is a global specialization, but I'll try to add things in this way.

Good mods take time. Anyone can program something easily in FS, but giving quality has become rare in FS and if you need 1 year to program and write all of this, then that's just the way it is, you see, you have fans of your mod who love it

Hey First of all Thank you for bringing us this great Mod back. would it be possible for you to implement a fillLevel warning Sound with automated BeaconLight turn on at a predefiened number ? i searched for Mod that would do that but i think it fits Perfect in CombineXP since it is direct related to Combines :) best Regards from Germany

Hello @MAXQON I personally use https://farming-simulator.com/mod.php?lang=en&country=gb&mod_id=229510&title=fs2022 Only missing is the capability to configure the warning levels. Have you tried it ?
