Computer-Aided Design - UMD
This repository contains the final project for CAD. This project was created for and under the instruction/guidance of the Computer-Aided Design course at University of Maryland, College Park.
Introduction to computer graphics. Plotting and drawing with computer software. Principles of writing interactive software. Applications of computer-aided design. Computer-aided design projects.
The main goals are to provide students with a conceptual understanding of the principles of CAD systems, the implementation of these principles, and its connections to CAM and CAE systems. The generic aspect of CAD software systems will be discussed. A large portion of the students’ time will be spent independently in the computer labs learning the details of design and analysis related to the product realization process.
The final project was to create a CAD model of a Boeing 747.
Some code/materials were created with fellow classmates.
