How to move prev/next buttons to the corner

Hi there,

I have really weird problem. Just installed the newest version of Zen, so far it is pretty cool. I have one issue though:

Why I cannot move these buttons here? As far as I understand it is because sidebar is reserving this space... but why exactly? Not any browser does that. On top of that, compact mode moves these buttons to the corner too so it is possible tho. Can i fix it somehow?

Issue is exactly, what I want but issue is labeled as "not planned". Also tip from the contributor is not right, because you cannot customize it in "right click toolbar" > "Customize toolbar...".
