Up to now, I have only used Kubespray to deploy Kubernetes on Jetstream 2.
However, Magnum has autoscaling capability https://github.com/kubernetes/autoscaler/blob/master/cluster-autoscaler/cloudprovider/magnum/README.md so it would allow to save resources.
It would be nice to investigate as an alternative.

Answer from the Jetstream 2 team:

OpenStack Magnum isn’t present yet. We just completed the Zed upgrade and anticipate getting Magnum installed soon. We’re also exploring Cluster API as a potential k8s backend replacement for Magnum, as well. I think we’ll have Magnum in place in coming months.
