Ideally this would work like in Word where the bibliography is just regenerated based on the citations in the new document. Currently, it seems like the bibliography turns red no matter what, so even just copying a whole document with citations and bibliography results in a broken bibliography.

This is technically possible, but much harder than just getting the citation copying to work because bibliographies are multi-line, and given that the bibliography field doesn't store any important information I chose to just ignore it when implementing copying in the first place. I'd rather postpone this for some other time there's a need to delve into this code more deeply or when we're out of other more important work.
