Clear Targets/ESC only clears your targets that are on your cards. If you target an opponent's card, then it considers it to be your opponent's target. Equally, if your opponent clears targets, it clears from their cards and removes any of your targets.
Typically this currently exhibits with someone doing clear targets at the end of a turn and scratching their head as to why the target they put on an opponent's card hasn't gone away.

Currently the clear targets function only removes targeting/highlights from cards the player controls. There doesn't seem to be a way to clear just your own targeting. I'm looking at removing that check, but if I do, any player clearing targets will remove both theirs and their opponent's targeting.
I think that is definitely better than the current approach, but I'm curious if there's a better option.
