GCAM_PyPSA_2025

This version of the model includes all the files and data used for running the results presented in the paper "Implications of defining exogenous variables in Energy System Modelling with Integrated Assessment Models for transition planning", currently under revision.

This version includes minor changes in code for the scripts and data, as well as updated notebooks, required to replicate results in the paper stored in the Results_analysis folder. The newer versions of the files required for this scenario are included as default in the installation, however, scripts and data used for this and previous versions can be found in their corresponding subfolders (i.e. GCAM_PyPSA_2025), and should be extracted and included manually (replacing the existing ones) to replicate results in each case.

ECOS_2024

This version of the model includes all the files and data used for running the results presented in the paper "A two-step cascade modelling between EnergyScope Pathway-BO and PyPSA-BO for energy transition planning. Part B: Geo-spatial characterization and effects" at the ECOS 2024 conference in Greece.
Results can be replicated by using the current version of the files in the modified_files folder and the notebooks from the ECOS_2024 folder in the result_analysis folder.
