I was trying to implement this on Windows RT 8.0 . Really nice work btw. Anyhow I was having an awful time trying to get my subwindows to load with the rest of the view without using a button to call them. For whatever reason RT lacks a "one the view is loaded" method. I managed to attach an event to the grids GotFocus, in the root view that then initiated calling up my controls. Not sure if there is a more elegant solution, but meh. It worked. ;) Keep up the good work Christian.
