During my time at PwC I have worked on a very interesting topic, that gains more and more traction as the new capabilities of Artificial Intelligence slowly gains recognition in the general public. Especially the European Union has recently started looking into regulations for the responsible usage and design of such models. Correspondingly, PwC aims to take this into consideration for their technology consulting program, which is why they started to develop RAIVE: Responsible AI Validation Engine, which I spent a majority of my internship developing. More information on the general motivation can be found at [the project website](https://www.pwc.de/en/finanzdienstleistungen/raive-responsible-ai-validation-engine.html). To substantiate the idea with a solid academic foundation, I have reviewed a number of papers Explainable AI (XAI), and worked more closely with quantitative libraries, but also qualitative indicators such as user surveys.

### Deutsche Bank - Technology, Data and Innovation
For my work at Deutsche Bank, I worked with multiple teams on issues concerning the Bafir Payment Engine. In addition, I created and deployed a service that connected different safe file transfer protocols between global Deutsche Bank teams in Asia and Europe. If you want to learn more about the TDI or the payment engine, have a look at the [company website](https://www.pwc.de/en/finanzdienstleistungen/raive-responsible-ai-validation-engine.html)

### Helmholtz Centre Munich - Institute of Computational Biology
I spent some time working as research assistant at the Helmholtz Centre Munich. Specifically, I supported a Phd candidate through the implementation of different neural networks for cell classification, as well as an autoencoder for single-cell samples of diabetic mice. The findings supported the publication of [this article](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2212877821001770).
