Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I understood, due to the decoupling move of core and adapters (listed here) there is no need to align the minor version of the adapter to the core minor version.
Why not ask for dbt-core > 1.8.0?

For people using both Meltano and dbt in the save environment it would be nice to have dbt-core >= 1.9.0 for this plugin! |
