Linux user (arch btw)
I'm a """dev""" that is really into trying to find something to code.
I know they suck, but I'm working on it
I started with minecraft and coding some cheats and stuff, because I wasn't very good and I wanted to play factions. I then moved on to doing school work (crazy I know), which kinda stopped my coding progress (I was doing stuff, it was just really stupid or simple) except for when people would like, ask me if I could code them a website, and I just hated saying no so I learned even if I say "llol I'm not coding u a website broski". Then eventually highschool hit and I got really stressed with all my courses and stuff so I started coding a lot more, and learning a whole bunch of stuff.
Now I'm focused on actually writing software that I can post to my github. I Mainly code stuff that I have a deep interest in, such as: Proof of concept malware, malware/exploit reasearch, mods for games that I enjoy playing(mainly Minecraft) and maybe some proof of concept 'undetectable' game cheats, will be posted here.
Currently I am relearning how to mod Minecraft. This is mainly because there seems to be a complete lack of good automation modpacks in the newer versions of the game, and I believe this is because of how many of the old FTB class mods are stuck in version 1.12.2. I don't plan on remaking each of these mods from the ground up because it'd be too much work, and also useless since they wouldn't be as good as the original mods. I am planning on making a mod that will maybe revive some of the passion that FTB players had, and encourage them to make some more mods to work with or around mine (Or just do their own thing because this mod will most likely suck). I think Create is a great mod and all that, but I do believe that it's too... overused? Most modpacks follow similar progression beats of Create, ie: andesite casing -> brass casing -> advanced machinery. It gets a bit repetitive. So why not make my own mod that potentiates my gameplay style: Automation within confined spaces. Basically: I like Ultimate Alchemy and Mana Labratories. :P
I am learning more about Assembly language as it will help me learn more about lower level languages, aswell as making the reverse engineering process... possible. In terms of learning reasources, I have been reading "Hacking The Art of Exploitation" By Jon Erickson, and following along in a virtual machine. So far the book has just been teaching the C language, and how the compiler and the code actually functions under the hood, all pretty basic stuff for now. I'm also trying to get a better hang of Ghidra, since it's a very powerful decompiler, aswell as it being foss. (Shoutouts to the CIA(kek)) My long term goal for assembly would be to program a functional version of puyo puyo fully using x86 assembly. Seems so far away at this point, but I know I'll be able to do it eventually.
I'm trying to learn how to draw pixel art. Main reason I'm doing this is because I want a better vice to cope, and express myself with. I feel like drawing is this skill that I've somewhat had, but never took the time to develop. I'm starting slow by just drawing a random object or thing that comes to mind, and just trying to make it the best I can. It's not the best method, but at the moment I'm just trying to get a better hang of the rules and consistently drawing at least one thing everyday. :)
