Opening PR for more overall visibility of the possible widget library use.
It is not meant to be merged as-is, there is the full inclusion of the
asioC++ library which I am not particularly happy with, we should at least minimize that part.Also I couldn't get it to work on macOS. It builds and runs, but display is black.
