Tasmota-Setup-Command-Generator

How to use

  • Install Tasmota on your device using the webinstaller.
  • Once it installs, click "Next", then skip WiFi setup.
  • Click "Logs & Console" to open the Tasmota console.
  • On your computer, clone this repo with git clone https://github.com/Darkextratoasty/Tasmota-Setup-Command-Generator.git.
  • cd into Tasmota-Setup-Command-Generator.
  • Copy example-config.yml and rename to config.yml.
  • Fill out fields in config.yml with the correct values for your device. For sections like the template and NTP settings, consult the Tasmota documentation here.
  • Save the config.yml file and run python3 cmd-gen.py.
  • Copy the output and paste it into the Tasmota console.
  • Wait a few minutes for everything to run.

Note: these are the settings that needed to be changed for my particular devices, your application may need different commands to change different settings.

Example Templates

{"NAME":"Sonoff S31","GPIO":[32,3072,0,3104,0,0,0,0,224,320,0,0,0,0],"FLAG":0,"BASE":41}

Custom ESP8266-DS18B20 Node

I should publically release this eventually, but for now this is for my own notes: https://github.com/Darkextratoasty/ESP-Nodes {"NAME":"ESP Node","GPIO":[0,0,0,0,640,608,0,0,1312,1313,1314,0,0,0],"FLAG":0,"BASE":18}

  ntp_timestd: "0,1,11,1,2,-300"
  ntp_timedst: "0,2,3,1,2,-240"
