### Calculated fields queries

You can create a workspace with [Calculated Fields][4] queries from the Log Explorer. To transfer a query from the Logs Explorer, enter a query with Calculated Fields and click **Open in New Workspace**.

You can also use existing dataset to define a computed field using a formula that can be reused in further datasets:
1. Open a Workspace with a data source.
1. Add a [Transformation cell](#transformation-cell).
1. Click **More**.
1. Select **Calculate**.
