2 ‐ About Branches

• main - Default official Mastodon upstream to sync in our fork.

• stable or production - They are branches using official Mastodon tag releases (4.2.9)

• aurora - Commits that are cherry-picked 🍒 into our flagship Mastodon install. (Not Recommended, as it is an experimental branch. Currently v4.3.0-alpha.4)

• alpha - Our nightly build for testing environment. (DANGER: Abandon hope, all ye wh... you get it. Contains new and merged commits nightly from other branches. Select this if you enjoys tasty bugs. 🐛 Don't blame the bugs if your database gets annihilated.

• upstream-main- in case of emergency it use main upstream branch, last known working sync (Should remain untouched)

• bagel-is-go - Our official stable branch that graduates 🎓 from Aurora as our roadmap processes. 🥯

• cherry - Commits that are cherry-picked 🍒 with basic changes, like themes, post character limit also merges to other branches. Feel free to use this branch.
