Attacking

When attack macros are triggered, a pop-up HUD is presented to configure various options about the attack relating to accuracy and difficulty for the attack. Weapon tags such as Accurate, Inaccurate, and Seeking are automatically accounted for. If no tokens are targeted, clicking Roll will make a single attack and damage roll.

To trigger an attack macro, click the d20 icon next to a weapon on an actor sheet. The HUD will also come up if you target a token, or by triggering an attack macro using the popular Token Action HUD module. Triggering another attack macro will replace the weapon being used by the HUD.

Targeting tokens allows for greater configuration in the HUD, and targets can be changed on the fly. The Invisible and Lock On status of your target(s) is included in the rolls. Cover can be configured individually per target, as well as general accuracy increase/decrease buttons for the whole attack and per target. One attack roll will be made per target and compared to the target(s) appropriate defenses to state hit/miss/crit results. Damage and crit damage will be rolled based on those results.

If the weapon has AOE ranges, buttons to place corresponding templates are in the HUD title bar. Placing these templates will target tokens they cover, except the originator. Notice above that the shredder drone at the center of the burst does not get targeted.
