Welcome to the FESPP wiki!

FESPP, a Paraview plugin, allows you to visualize RESQML 2.0 data (aka EPC files) and Energistics Transfer Protocol (aka data from ETP server) into Paraview.

Particularly, FESPP allows you to visualize:

  • 2d grids (horizon) and their properties on nodes
  • IJK grids (reservoir) and their properties, potentially time ones, on cells or nodes
    • LGR are imported as normal IJK grids.
    • Subrepresentations allow to import properties on only a part of the IJK grid.
  • unstructured grid (reservoir) and their properties on cells or nodes
    • Subrepresentations by faces or cells
  • polyline sets (fault) and their properties nodes
  • triangulated surfaces (horizon and fault) and their properties
  • wellbore
    • trajectories
    • markers
    • channels/well log
    • completions (only perforations)
  • collections
    • wellbores
    • properties

Partial properties can also be imported (for example properties in an EPC which reference an IJK grid of another EPC).
