Script to scrape Telegram data and store as CSV. Also, a JSON file to CSV converter, if you happen to have JSON Telegram files. Finally, a Script that looks for other Telegram channels in the sample you`ve scraped. We've also added an R script for pre-processing of Telegram data. The scraper is not tailored for specific project uses but gets all information so you will have to select the necessary variables for your project with the attached R script. Requires the Telethon package https://docs.telethon.dev/en/stable/basic/installation.html. Data that can be collected with these scripts can be used for (computational) social science projects. You may not use these scripts for commercial purposes. Use the provided scripts ethically and in accordance with your local laws and regulations.
