Zapper Functionality

Zapper mode can work with any NES emulator, including ones running on other consoles, PCs or phones. When running on consoles, whether an original NES or another system emulating one, BlueRetro receivers can be used.
For emulators that support Zapper emulation, simply map the Bluetooth buttons to the emulators Light and Trigger inputs, ensuring the emulator is setup to accept inversed Light pin sources.
For emulators that do not natively support Zapper emulation, patched ROMs from NESLCDMOD can be used that map the games internal Light and Trigger detection functions to the NES gamepad buttons A and B. These ROMs can also help account for any Bluetooth & screen delay.
