Welcome to Word It, a MERN stack Chat App. A full-stack chat application using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) along with websockets.

Word It includes several cool features, including:

• Online Indicator: See when other users are online and available for chat.
• Uploads/Attachments: Ability to upload and send attachments within the chat.
• Auto-scrolling: Automatically scroll to the latest messages for a seamless chat experience.
• Real-time Communication: Utilizing websockets for real-time messaging capabilities.

Purpose

A MERN Stack developer experience, building a chat application using MERN stack and websockets. I achieved the following while i was working on the app:

• Gained understanding of MERN stack development.
• Learned how to integrate websockets for real-time communication.
• Implemented features such as online indicators and file uploads.
• Enhanced my portfolio with a fully functional chat application.
