Introduction

The Bracu Search is a web-based application designed to provide real-time information about the availability of rooms within Brac University's Mohakhali campus. With the fast-paced nature of campus life, finding an available room for group discussions, self-study, or meetings can be a challenging task. Our project aims to simplify this process by offering an intuitive and up-to-date platform that displays the occupancy status of various rooms on campus.

• Real-time Updates: The application provides instant updates on room availability, making it easy to find an open space on campus without delays.

• Intuitive Interface: A user-friendly interface which takes input in 3 different parameters:

  • Building Number

  • Floor Number

  • Room Number

• Efficient Resource Utilization: By minimizing room wastage and optimizing utilization, the project contributes to a more efficient use of campus facilities.

• Accessibility: Users can access the application from their browsers on various devices, promoting convenience and accessibility.

Usage

1. Open your web browser.
2. Navigate to the project's URL (https://istiakimran.github.io/bracu-search/).
3. Select the Building Number, the Floor number, and the Room Number you want to check, from the dropdown menu.
4. Hit the Check button.

Target Audience
