Welcome to my GitHub! I'm Kristopher Kubicki, a software developer, entrepreneur, and radio enthusiast.β¨ My projects range from smart home device types to cutting-edge data scraping tools, along with experimental ventures in audio processing, noise cancellation, and much more. Iβm always exploring new technologies and pushing the boundaries of software and hardware innovation. Most of my projects acquire or synthesize data.
I also work at OpenBrand.com (formerly Gap Intelligence, Deep.ad, Traqline, and Competitive Promotion Report). Check out our GitHub for job postings and more, including details on our open-source DAR (Data Archive Request) format, a powerful tool for data collection and analysis similar to an HTTP archive request file.
I co-founded Hubitat, a smart home automation platform, and have developed numerous device types and integrations for Hubitat and SmartThings. Many of my repos contain device types and apps useful for both platforms.
Glimpser π
Glimpser is my time series NVR (Network Video Recorder) designed for enthusiasts who want to capture, analyze, and visualize changes over time. It's for anyone fascinated by visualizing data across different time intervals.
Momento is an image capture platform for stadiums and events. The system consists of hundreds of interconnected static cameras that take ultra high resolution photos. The software consists of state-of-the-art indoor recognition and orientation algorithms.
Artdrop is an automated art-purchasing bot. π It is a highly automated workflow for monitoring, alerting and acquiring art that is shipped and sold on the internet. You can see a public feed of the sfotware at Drops.art.
CostCrawler is a public project built to crawl hospital pricing data, unify pricing codes, and bring transparency to healthcare costs. It's part of my ongoing effort to disintermediate data landscapes through automation. You can see how this is implemented at Waymed.com.
While many of my projects are public, I also have a range of private repositories focused on web crawling, drones, and radio frequency applications that I donβt share publicly. If you're interested in any of these areas, feel free to reach out. I'm always eager to discuss cool tech. π±
Also, check out some early work I did on building multi-modal recognition pipelines for all kinds of media types.
I hold multiple patents in software and hardware, ranging from advanced web crawling technologies to diamond semiconductor designs. Check out my patents for more details on my contributions to the field.
- Audio Processing and Noise Cancellation: I'm delving into audio technologies, experimenting with new ways to process and reduce noise.
- LLM Augmentation: I leverage at least three different LLMs for code review and augmentation, enhancing my development workflows.
- Web Crawling: Continuously refining my web crawling techniques to improve data extraction and analysis.
- Drone Photography: I frequently capture aerial images with drones, integrating these workflows into my data collection projects.
I love talking about computers and code!
I'm always curious about how others are using AI and innovative tools in their workflows. If you have any cool AI workflows or tools, please share themβIβd love to see what you're working on!
Happy coding!
