Welcome to the Romanov's Vengeance wiki!
Romanov's Vengeance is a 3rd party OpenRA mod based on OpenRA Red Alert 2 mod. It aims to create a Red Alert 2 with balanced multiplayer experience, improvements that comes from OpenRA and other improvements from more modern Command & Conquer games. A custom campaign is also being planned, but not much of a work is done on it yet.
Our latest playests are available for download here.
You can also download this repository and manually build the latest developement version. You can find instructions on how to run the developement version on Building Developement Versions page.
Please note that mod is still under developement, even the playtest versions are susceptible to bugs. There are still a few features from the original game that are still missing, there are seveal placeholder artwork and new stuff and balancing are always subject to change.
While you don't need the game itself, you are going to need some files from original Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge. Since - unlike Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Sun - Red Alert 2 isn't Freeware, we can't provide these files for you. The ingame content manager can fetch these files from an original Red Alert 2 disc (installation from Original Yuri's Revenge disc is currently missing), an Origin installation or a The First Decade disc. If you have the necessary files from other means, you can manually put the needed files to your content folder. You can find instructions on that on Manual Content Installation page.
We would rather you report bugs and do your suggestions on our Discord server first. But if you don't have a Discord account, of course you can report them here.
