To be clear this repo will definitely be switched to public in the future, I think it is just private for now to prevent confusion during the transition to this approach |

On second look I am wondering if there is actually any value in these docs over the ones in NASA-IMPACT/veda-docs#62. Closing this in the meantime. |

Towards #3. I'd like to lock the conversation on NASA-IMPACT/veda-backend#28 and NASA-IMPACT/veda-backend#29 as well, but I'm not sure if that is appropriate since this is a private repo
