Tech doc is constructed using bookdown. Bookdown is an "open-source R package that facilitates writing books and long-form articles/reports with R Markdown".
Tech doc is a compilation of individual indicator chapters. Each chapter is built using this template in an Rmarkdown file stored in the 'chapters' folder. The _bookdown.yml compiles the chapter .rmds in the desired order.
Bibliographies developed for each chapter are stored in the 'bibliography' folder in .bib files. References for each chapter should be gathered in bibtex format and then referenced in text using the markdown style.
