Zepp OS Screen Reader is a screen reader developed specifically for devices running Zepp OS. It allows blind and low vision users to use their devices without relying on visual cues. Screen readers provide a number of features, including:

To get started, you need to clone the repository to your local machine and navigate to the project root directory. You can then start the compilation preview by running the following command: zeus dev
When compile preview is started, you can interact with the screen reader using the following keyboard shortcuts:
- Space - Speaks the current item
- Tab - Move to the next item
- Shift+Tab - Move to the previous item
- Enter - Selects the current item
To build the application, you can run the following command:
zeus builds
This will create a .zab
file in the dist
folder. You can install this file on your Zepp OS device.
To install the app on your device, you need to connect your watch to your phone and open the Zepp app. Then, go to Profile > Amazfit GTS 4 Mini > App Store and select the Zepp OS Screen Reader application. Click the "Install" button to install the app on your device.
Once the app is installed, you can enable the screen reader by going to Settings > Accessibility > Zepp OS Screen Reader and turning the switch to the On position.
