Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to acquire the transition rate constants between, for example, state 1 to state 2. Maybe it is possible, but I do not know what to do for the MASH-FRET to give me those values. Is it supposed to show up here? If it is, then it is not doing so right now which may be a bug? Please address this as soon as possible.

Many Thanks,

Hi Sydney,

Thank you for your question and I again apology for the delay of my answer for the same reasons.

If you want to calculate transition rates from state lifetimes obtain by exponential fit of the dwell time histograms, you can use the formula given in this documentation section: https://rna-fretools.github.io/MASH-FRET/transition-analysis/components/panel-dwell-time-histograms.html#fit-results.

If you want to obtain transiton rate constants from transition probabilities, follow this part of the doc: https://rna-fretools.github.io/MASH-FRET/transition-analysis/workflow.html#via-transition-probabilities

Tell me if you need help with this.
Best,
Mélodie

Hi Melodie,

Some of the equations from the website link you sent me look like this:

Just wanted to let you know.

Hi Sydney,
Thank you for signalling this issue.
Equations should now appear correctly in the documentation.
Best,
Mélodie
