4. What is the git command to initialize a new repository?
git init

5. In your own words, describe what the command `git push` is doing.
The command `git push` is essentially PUSHING and updating whatever is
edited and changed on your local repository such as your computer to
a remote repository/server like Github.

6. What is the purpose of a `.gitignore` file?
The purpose of a `.gitignore` is to ignore certain files (personal files,
hidden files, temporary files) from being tracked or shared across others.

7. What is a fork? Why would you want to have a fork?
A fork is a copy of an existing repository that someone had already made.
Forking allows people to take that copy of the original repository and manage
it themselves to make changes to a project without affecting the orignal repo.

8. What is a clone? How many clones can you have?
A clone is making an identical copy of the original remote repo to
your local computer for you to make changes to.

9. Should you put a Github repository inside of another Github repository?
It's possible to put a Github repository inside of another. It is basically
considered as making a subdirectory or submodule. However, it is not recommended.

10. You can type `git status` at any time while in a git repository - true or false
