01_Microphone
Description of the microphone we've made to fit to the SonoMKR project : inexpensive and yet close to professional requirements.
The microphone is based on an electret capsule.
The very first version of the microphone was conceived with the famous electret-capsule from Panasonic WM-61A. For only a few, it has an extended frequency response, a good sensitivity, and a reasonable S/N ratio.
This capsule is apparently no-longer made, and can only be found on alternative seller (Ebay...) and yet at Digikey, has to be B-stock. Note that a couple of capsule seems to be quite equivalent.
First version of the microphone, using a WM-61A electret capsule (discontinued)
