Settings Client Plugins
Thanks to quirks with DirectX it is objectively worse to have higher graphics settings. Set everything to medium, or you will suffer. It looks almost exactly the same as High or Extreme options.
You should get Plugin Loader Launcher. It allows you to add incredibly useful tweaks that fix a lot of Keen's jank.
ESSENTIAL Recommended plugins:
- Skip Intro (or -skipintro in steam launch options)
- Build Freedom
- No Forced Camera Zoom
- Performance Improvements (Huge)
- Zoom
- Instant Exit
Recommended PluginLoader Mods:
- MultiplayerPredictionSwitcher
- Flight Vector
NOT recommended plugins
- ScrollableFov - Zoom is the same, but lets you rebind it
- SlowMo - breaks particles
- Accelerometer - spams log with nullreferenceexception
- toolbar saver - does weird things to blueprints that causes crashes
