Thanks for some explanations. On the Favnta/Favdna question: One is the hard/soft t/d, the other is sequence of letters. n-t or d-n? If one is clearly a misspelling, at least this could be repaired, after probably more than a decade since Bogdan noticed it. |
Oh, I think the order is a misspelling.
I have seen different transcriptions of Favdna , but also variations in the different Sami languages.
Besides “vdn” is hard non-Sami speaking people. I do not speak Sami, but some Finnish, so I use the Finnish pronunciation. Which is not exactly as the Sami but close.
