Metadata Editor 1.4.0
- MusicXML files (.mxl, .musicxml, and .xml) can now be added to the song list. (#6)
- The macOS version is now a universal binary with Apple Silicon support.
- The app should no longer attempt to download XML DTD files from the Internet(!) when loading metadata files.
- Trying to open an invalid metadata file is now just an error message instead of a crash.
Requirements:
- Uses .NET Framework 4.8 runtime (up from the now-unsupported 4.5).
- macOS minimum version bumped to 10.13 (up from 10.9).
Metadata Editor 1.3.0 (Mac-only)
- The text cursor no longer jumps to the end of multi-line TextViews (Finger Hints and Parts) after every keystroke. (#4)
- The Mac binary is now hardened and notarized.
Windows users: continue to use 1.2.0. There weren't any non-Mac changes, so 1.2.0 is still the best available.
