In #84 we switched from pandoc's generic markdown to github-flavored markdown (with some extensions) at the project level. This PR makes the analogous change at the shuttle level. Adding raw latex now requires a somewhat more verbose and deliberate syntax. This should fix [datasheet-backslash-issue].
