BetterFarm is a web-based application system whose main purpose is to enable small-scale farmers to engage thousands of buyers directly when produce is ready. It will provide farmers with price trends that will keep farmers up-to-date with the current market price. BetterFarm will also enable farmers to connect with other farmers , to share ideas, experiences and also be able to find solution when faced with farming challenges.It will also provide good opportunity for farmers to connect with their buyers.
This project is an elixir project. You will need the following installed in your computer. For elixir and erlang installation instructions, check out the official installation page.

Postgresql- Install dependencies with
mix deps.get - Create and migrate your database with
mix ecto.setup - Install Node.js dependencies with
cd assets && npm install - Start Phoenix endpoint with
mix phx.server
Now you can visit localhost:4000 from your browser.
