What's Changed
- This is the first attempt at a larger effort of unifying & tweaking the LANGUAGE lumps of various items/weapons.
- No, this does not mean ballistic dimensions or "canon" values will be messed with. These changes hope to stay as "lore friendly" as they can be, and are just an effort to standardize tag formats, pickup message verbiage, etc. Some generic items, such as the Pistol, which have been reskinned to be something specific, will have a pseudo-parody in-universe name given to it.
- The other big thing affected will be the Merchant's Shop Categories. Because they are all localized they can also be re-assigned and thus be shuffled around in the shop. This is where the biggest changes will probably start to take root, as the idea of my own preferences towards items and their "lore" will take hold.
- The UMS Automag has a new set of sprites made by Sonik.O, modified by Tapor
- Brightmaps have been added for some weapons/items
- A custom TEXTCOLO lump has been added
- This has been leveraged in the new Main Menu changes, included a replaced BIGFONT/SMALLFNT and tweaked menu colors.
- Readme has been cleaned up & updated to match various incorrect credits or changes since the last release.
- The Greely's sights have been tweaked to match the fact that the sprite doesn't seem to have a back sprite, similar to the Duke Shotgun's sprite replacement for the Combat Shotgun.
- The USP-45 has been reskinned with the Project Brutality USP, recolored purple for thematic consistency
- Various other fixes from updates to HDest & addons along the way.
