Please let me introduce you to Jeff. I’ve encouraged him to invite you to the food bank at 921 Cherry St for your first meeting so you can see how he works in his environment. I would like to join you for at least this first meeting, if I can. I believe Jeff is willing to come to campus for subsequent meetings.

Some clear first tasks for your team include:

• Cloning the existing repo and running the application in Eclipse
• Reading documentation left by Allen Tucker (in the repo linked above)
• Choosing a Web application framework and starting to learn it

One risk I see for your project, which you will want to research, is that Jeff wants access to his old data in the new system, and the existing database schema doesn’t match that used by any modern object-relational mapper.
