After you clicked on the invitation link in your email and registering with ZenHub(by connecting your GitHub account), you can download the plugin for Chrome or Firefox at the link here.
This extension adds a tab next to the Pull Requests and Projects tab that will display ZenHub within the GitHub repository, so you don't have to leave GitHub to access the tasks board.
About
ZenHub is a type of Kanban board service, which depict tasks at various stages(e.g. Todo, In Progress, Done) in order to better track progress. Tasks in ZenHub are created as issues within GitHub(see the Issues tab). This allows us to reference what task each commit or pull request is in reference to, which will improve the overall organization of tasks & repository.
Issues
Assigining yourself to an issue doesn't seem to work inside ZenHub (I assume it lacks the proper permissions). Instead, just open the issue in GitHub and assign yourself there.
