Much of the layout and ideas on navigation for my blog came from Kevin Marquette's blog. I recommend checking his blog out. It is a terrific resource for learning PowerShell.

Beautiful Jekyll is a ready-to-use template to help you create an awesome website quickly. Perfect for personal blogs or simple project websites. Check out a demo of what you'll get after just two minutes. You can also look at Dean Attail's personal website to see it in use, or see examples of websites other people created using this theme here.
When I had to redo my local blog development space, I followed a great video by Bill Raymond on YouTube, Develop Jekyll websites in a container (including GitHub Pages).
This video walks you step-by-step in creating a local docker container and using VSCode to edit a blog.
Once the framework was in place, I downloaded the latest release of Beautiful Jekyll and customized it to my needs.
I go into depth about my blog history and how I leverage PowerShell to create new posts here.
