Current Rules

Setup

Players start at the corners of the map, Dracula starts in the middle

Each player gets 3 sunlight tokens and 2 stakes to start

The player team has 5 lives collectively, Dracula has 3

Gameplay

Players each take their turns in order, after which Dracula will take his turn. A round is all players taking their turns, then Dracula takes his turn. The players have 4 garlics (pooled between them) to use on over the round. Sunlight is active for a single round.

Player Turn

On their turn a player may choose to take any of the following actions:

  1. Move to an adjacent room
  2. Throw garlic

Finally, a player may choose to use an item (sunlight or stake). Using an item ends your turn

To throw garlic, the player chooses a room adjacent to them or the room they are in. If the vampire is in the chosen room, this is revealed to the players.

To use an item, a player may use either sunlight or a stake by getting rid of the corresponding token.

Sunlight can be used on any adjacent room. Place a sunlight token in that room. The vampire cannot enter a room with sunlight in it. If the vampire is in a room that has sunlight in it, it must leave on its turn, but it cannot move into the same room as the player who placed the sunlight. Sunlight is removed after the vampire takes its next turn.

Stakes can be used on the room you are in or any adjacent room. If the vampire is in the chosen room, it loses one health.

A play can choose to do no actions on their turn to receive an item (either a sunlight or stake).

Vampire Turn

On its turn, the vampire can move up to three rooms. If it enters a room with a player in it, it can choose to bite the player. The player team loses a stake token (if they have any) and misses their next turn. They cannot be bitten again until after the vampire's next turn.

If Dracula was hit by a staken during the current round, he can still move up to 3 places, but cannot bite players.

Game End

The players win if the vampire is hit 3 times with stakes.

The vampire wins if the players are bitten a total of 5 times.
