My motivations

My motivation for joining the team as an Intern Developer Assistant is rooted in my passion for using technology to improve the human experience and drive positive change in the field of education. I am excited about the opportunity to be directly involved in the student's journey, and to assist the team in tracking and reporting copyright violations, as well as designing and implementing automations.

One of the key advantages that I bring to the role is my personal experience with the program, I have been through the curriculum (in Cohort 7), which gives me a unique perspective on the needs of the students and the requirements of the program. Additionally, I have had my personal experience with copyright, and have been flagged once for it during my time in the program, due to my ignorance about the rules. This experience has motivated me to thoroughly educate myself on the copyright rules surrounding the program, and to ensure that I adhere to them in all of my work. I believe that my personal experience with this issue can be an asset in my role as an Intern Developer Assistant, helping me to understand the importance of this issue and how to address it effectively

I am also motivated to join the team because of the potential for professional development and coaching. As someone who seeks to create lasting impact by solving problems that address systemic growth challenges, I am passionate about learning and growth, both for myself and others, and am excited to bring this mindset to the team, to enhance my own knowledge and skills and to share my expertise in engineering best practices and data-oriented thinking with my colleagues, to foster a culture of continuous learning and to drive the success and growth of the organization. This aligns well with the aspect of the role that involve in mentoring, which I find personally rewarding.

Overall, I am extremely motivated to join the team as an Intern Developer Assistant and I believe that my personal experience and the skills and experience I bring, make me a great fit for this role. I am confident that I can contribute greatly to the team, with my understanding of the importance of copyright issues, and make an impact in this role.

I am confident in my ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, which is essential to collaborating with the team. My ability to independently manage projects and proficiency in relevant tools such as Slack, Google Drive, and GitHub align well with the position's requirements. Furthermore, I have a strong sense of ownership and initiative when it comes to my work, which allows me to take full responsibility for my deliverables and proactively drive projects to completion even when working independently and with minimal supervision. This aligns well with the accountability aspect of the role.
