The following tips are meant for FDM printers.
- Print the housing for the sensor node with the openings pointing to the print bed.
- Print the top of the gateway housing and the router node housing with the opening pointing the print bed.
- Print the bottom of the gateway housing and router node housing with the opening pointing upwards.
- Print all parts with a brim. After printing, the brim can be removed with a knife.
- The underside of the top of the gateway housing and router node housing looks a bit rough due to bridging. However, this is expected and not an issue.
- Print in PLA material for ease of printing.
- For maximal output, print as many parts as possible at the same time. However, if the available printer is not reliable, reduce the number of parts printed at the same time.
