Code to measure the radial bias with filtered noise patches, with or without adapting with a "full" field oriented stimulus. This experiment was designed to try to modulate (increase or decrease) the radial bias in peripheral vision (i.e. better sensitivity for radial orientations).
Includes:
OCTAVE code to make the stimuli (filtered noise patches). (works with Matlab too but a few changes may be necessary)
python + psychopy code to run the experiment
- RADAPT_baselineRB_noiz.py >>> experiment
- RADAPT_gratings_par.m >>> octave/matlab code to calculate the presentation parameters (size, eccentricity, etc.)
Stimuli (bitmap images) can be found in this Open Science Framework project
