The 192.168.3.* family of folders was a copy of the OpenVNet integration test that uses LXC on KVM instead of nested KVM. At the time it was made with the idea of running it locally and lighter than the nested KVM version.
It has never been completed and is 100% obsolete now. The nested KVM version has received many updates that aren't reflected here and runs locally just fine.
