When the States Asserted = Entity Presence field appears, the sensor output for a hardware component can show one of three valid values: Present(=1), Absent(=2), Disabled(=4).

According to the definition, the output of ipmimonitoring State column have different meaning for different sensors.

For example in this case: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/freeipmi-users/2012-10/msg00002.html , the state show Critical because it's missing the second processor, which shouldn't be an alert in production environment.
