OsmosePresets 0.2.3.32
This release adds a search facility, via Cmd F (for Find) or Cmd S (for Search) on Macs, or Ctrl-S and Ctrl-F on Linux or Windows. The same keystroke toggles the search off again.
There are 5 binaries...
OsmosePresets_macOS_aarch64_0.2.3.32 - for Macs with a Silicon processor, M1, M2, etc.
OsmosePresets_macOS_x86_64_0.2.3.32 - for Macs with an Intel processor (anything before the M1 series).
OsmosePresets_Linux_aarch64_0.2.3.32 - same principle as for the Mac
OsmosePresets_Linux_x86_64_0.2.3.32 - same principle as for the Mac
OsmosePresets_Windows_0.2.3.32.exe - should work on all Windows machines.
There are still a few screen glitches with the screen handling but I'm happy with the speed of the search and the way it instantly filters down the categories. The filtering by character is still to be done.
I have to apologise to Linux users! While the visuals are keeping pace with Mac and Windows, the actual business of dealing with the transmission of the MIDI messages to the Osmose is proving to be quite the rabbit hole! I've been investigating a Linux framework which has allowed me to actually make a noise via MIDI on the Osmose, which is greater progress than it sounds 😉
