💡 Summary

As reported by pilot engagements, the language in GWS has shift slightly so need to update the implementation steps to reflect what is shown in the admin console.

Motivation and context

Updating implementation steps for GWS Calendar 3.1/3.2 for accuracy.

For Google Calendar 3.1 the current SCB implementation steps state
3. Select Calendar Interop management.
4. Uncheck the Enable Interoperability for Calendar checkbox.
Settings have changed to be
3. Select Calendar Interop management.
4. Select Exchange availability in Calendar.
5. Uncheck the Allow Google Calendar to display Exchange users availability checkbox.

As for Google Calendar 3.2 the current SCB steps are

  1. Sign in to the Google Admin Console.
  2. Select Apps -> Google Workspace -> Calendar.
  3. Select Calendar Interop management.
  4. Select OAuth 2.0 client credentials
  5. Select Save.

It appears they should be updated to this

  1. Sign in to the Google Admin Console.
  2. Select Apps -> Google Workspace -> Calendar.
  3. Select Calendar Interop management.
  4. Select Exchange availability in Calendar.
  5. Check the Allow Google Calendar to display Exchange users availability checkbox.
  6. Select OAuth 2.0 client credentials.
  7. Select Save.

In addition to the 3.1/3.2 Implementation. the following is needed to be change:
