Add a list of CKAN instances to the website #16
Comments
we can use a link to datashades.info - there we already have a huge list of CKAN websites worldwide |
@Alex-Pavlyuk any progress here? |
we are looking for help to make these changes, but anyway it is not a small change request |
@popovayoana, @Alex-Pavlyuk Hi. I've looked through this issue. What did you decide finally? Just a link (button) to datashades.info (simple and fast) or a new page (complex, long while and some clarifications are needed)? |
@Alex-Pavlyuk @Alex-Pavlyuk IMO we can hold that one for now as we have no clear intentions and vision atm |
@popovayoana Any new ideas or thoughts? |
I'll add a ticket related to this for the datashades.info project as it could likely publish a verified list of CKAN portals as an API service, making it available to ckan.org and other applications that might wish to grab the list. Description

Expected behaviour
When visiting ckan.org website, one should be able to
Ideally this would be a subpage of the Showcase page - ckan.org/showcase/instances (although open to other suggestions).
